AMRT Course Policies

IICRC WRT certification is a prerequisite for this course.

This onsite in-person class will be held over a 4-day (25 hours) not including breaks, and exam time, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. The finishing times will vary each day (especially on exam day.)

Participants earn 14 IICRC Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for attending this course.

Lunches and snacks will be provided.

To receive your certification, you must pass an IICRC examination. If you intend to complete the exam, you must complete a separate exam registration process, which will be provided after registering for the course. Exams for AMRT are held in the classroom on the final day of the course around three hours prior to end of day.

AMRT course registration fees do NOT include IICRC exam registration fees. Exam fees are paid directly to the IICRC separately. The IICRC exam fee for this course is currently $150 USD. Examinations and Certification

To receive your certification, you must pass an IICRC examination. If you intend to complete the exam, you must complete a separate exam registration process, which will be provided after registering for the course. Exams for onsite in-person courses are generally held in the classroom after lunch on the final day of the course. Exams for online livestream courses have different arrangements.

Course registration fees do NOT include IICRC exam registration fees. Exam fees are paid directly to the IICRC separately. The IICRC exam fee for this course is currently $80 USD, but you can check the IICRC website to ensure that the fee is still correct.

Registration and Payment

To confirm your attendance for this class full payment must be received a minimum of 72 hours prior of the course date.

Pre-requisites

To take the IICRC approved AMRT course you must have already taken the IICRC WRT class!

Students must be fluent in English, at least 15 years of age, and able to provide evidence of successful completion of any pre-requisite courses. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that all pre-requisites have been met prior to attending the AMRT class.

Confirmation

Upon receipt of your completed registration and payment, registration will be verified by e-mail. The email will include venue information, course times, and other relevant information

Cancellations

Any booking cancellation requests for face-to-face courses must be made to EMTA in writing. The following policy applies to the timing of all such requests.

- If you cancel 15 or more days before first day of class, a full refund will be provided.
- I
f you cancel 1 to 7 days before the first day of class, a refund of 50% of the course fee will be returned to you, the remaining 50% will be retained as a course cancellation fee.
- If you fail to attend the course without cancelling or must withdraw during the course, the full course fee will be retained and not refunded.

Early departure policy

In order to qualify for an IICRC certification exam, the IICRC early departure requirements must be strictly adhered to.

Under the IICRC livestream course rules, students are required to attend every day of their course for the allotted hours. If a student does not attend a course for the entire duration, they will not be eligible to sit for the certification exam. Students cannot sign into a class late or leave early.

EMTA is not responsible for ensuring that a student is present for the entire duration of their course. If a student cannot be present, EMTA needs to be notified.

IICRC livestream student participation policy

In order to qualify for an IICRC certification exam, students must adhere to the following IICRC requirements:

- Students must have a suitable internet connection.
- Students must sign into their course and participate using either a desktop, laptop or tablet computer.
- Students must be seen by the instructor with their head and shoulders visible on camera.
- Students may not participate in any other activity during class time (walking, working, speaking to others, speaking on cell phone, etc.)
- Students may not participate while in a vehicle at any time.

In order to qualify for an IICRC certification exam, the IICRC Student Participation policy regarding attendance, screen-sharing, and participant behaviour requirements must be strictly adhered to. EMTA has no control or oversight regarding the IICRC Student Participation policy or their decision to deny a certification exam to a student who does not adhere to their specific policies. Any student who cannot complete a certification exam due to policy infractions is not eligible for course transfer or refund, and registration payment is forfeited.
